I thought this was a good definition:

Freedom:

Not the Privilege to do what you choose,

but the power to do what you should.

O.K. I guess it is time to update again.  A lot has been going on. A couple of weekends ago I played the role of Mary Poppins is a DBU version of Mary Poppins (Mary Crowley).  That was a lot of fun.  We rewrote the songs.

I leave Thursday for St. Louis (Meet me in St. Louie Louie, meet me at the fair...) on a choir trip ACDA.  That will be interesting.  We will get back late Sunday and the it is....drum roll please....

SPRING BREAK!!!!

Anyway,  I am looking forward to that. I have a choir concert today at Southwest Seminary at 4pm.  It is free if you will be in that area.  It is our pre-ACDA concert (dress rehearsal).

I guess those are the highlights.

Well I guess the third time is the charm.  Thanks Katie for encouraging me to bow to peer pressure. Here are my six random facts:

1. Even though I have lived my whole life in the south, I feel more connected to the North and would love to live there someday.  (I think it is that Michigan blood in me.)

2. I don't want to marry anyone with a last name that is also a noun. (maybe an adjective, do you know how many jokes can be made with Head)

3. I would rather spend quality time with a few close friends than go to a huge party of acquaintances.

4. I HATE peer pressure and "fashion" and hate to wear "trendy" clothes.  I wear my own style. (i.e. I just hate modern influences.  I think that the world was better off when people wore capes and carried swords.)

5. I like to drive in the rain.

6. My imagination is very valuable to me.  I try to exercise it regularly.

There... are all my peer satisfied.  Actually that was kind of fun.  However I refuse to tag anyone. I will not force anyone to do this exercise via peer pressure, however, if you, of your own free will, have a great desire to post six random facts about yourself, please enlighten us.

Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God which is your reasonable service.

Romans 12:1

Why are we commanded here to submit our bodies to God?  Is it because he have already given Him our Soul and Spirit when we are saved and the only thing we still may be holding on to is our bodies?
